Comfy Chair Plastic Sun Loungers
The plastic sun loungers from Comfy Chair are available in three neutral colours: black, grey and white. The great advantage of a plastic sun lounger is that it requires virtually no maintenance. After winter, simply clean it with some soapy water and your lounger is ready for another summer outdoors.
The plastic material is quite heavy, as all components are made from solid plastic. A plastic sun lounger therefore weighs 31 kilograms. This can be an advantage if you want the lounger to stay firmly in place. In addition, solid plastic is almost indestructible.
If you prefer to move your sun lounger more easily, a wooden version may be a better choice.
Sun loungers by the pool
Are Comfy Chair Sun Loungers suitable for use by a swimming pool? Absolutely.
If you plan to place a sun lounger by your own pool, it is worth considering how you intend to use it. The wooden Sun Lounger is easy to move, while the plastic version is not. On the other hand, plastic is extremely strong and durable. Wooden furniture is, by nature, a little more vulnerable.
For owners of public swimming pools or beach clubs, we therefore often recommend the plastic sun lounger. For private sun lovers who want to move their lounger easily, the wooden version is usually the better option.
Maintaining plastic sun loungers
Plastic is a very low-maintenance material. As a result, the plastic sun loungers from Comfy Chair require very little care. If you clean the lounger from time to time, it will last for many years.
Cleaning is best done with mild soapy water—avoid aggressive or abrasive cleaning products. We also advise against using a pressure washer, as incorrect use may dull the surface of the plastic.

Assembling plastic sun loungers
When you order a plastic Adirondack sun lounger, it is delivered by parcel service in a cardboard box. The box contains several pre-assembled components. In just a few simple steps, you can complete the assembly of the plastic sun lounger. A clear and easy-to-follow instruction manual is included.

Strictly speaking, they are not necessary—at least in our opinion. Comfy Chair sun loungers are already very comfortable without cushions.

This ensures that the elegant, rounded shapes and the slim “waist” of the backrest remain clearly visible, even with a cushion in place.
The cushions are made from Dralon, a high-quality acrylic fabric that is durable, colourfast and easy to clean.
