Comfy Chair wooden side tables

Models

The wooden side tables are available in several models. The round table is the true “classic”. Its round shape and characteristic slats blend perfectly with the Adirondack design of the chairs. The round tables measure 60 × 60 cm and are ideal for holding a cheese board or a generous stack of magazines.

In addition to the round table, we also offer square and rectangular tables made from red cedar wood. The rectangular tables are available in 60 × 60 cm and 45 × 45 cm. The smallest version is perfect if you’re looking for a table that takes up less space while still fitting neatly between the Adirondack chairs.

Red cedar side table

The Comfy Chair wooden side tables are made from red cedar. This type of wood is known for its luxurious appearance and long lifespan. What makes cedar unique is that it naturally contains oils that protect the wood against rot and insects. In addition, cedar is very strong yet lightweight – ideal for outdoor furniture.

Maintaining wooden side tables

The wooden side tables require very little maintenance. That’s one of the great benefits of red cedar: it lasts for years and is resistant to all kinds of weather. You can leave the table outside at all times; it won’t deteriorate. Over time, exposure to sunlight will cause the cedar wood to develop a grey patina. This process can be slowed down by regularly treating the furniture with a special wood oil. However, oiling does not affect the lifespan or quality of the wood.

Foldable legs

The Comfy Chair side tables feature foldable legs. This means the ends of the table legs can be moved towards each other. The legs are connected in the centre with a hinge, allowing them to fold into a slim unit. To set up the table, first place the legs on the ground. Then position the tabletop on top and slide the legs apart until they can’t go any further. They are now secured at the top between two wooden supports attached to the underside of the tabletop.
